International development is not only about reaching new markets. For IMF International, it also means being present locally, understanding the industrial environment and building long-term relationships with customers and partners.

This approach is taking shape through dedicated representatives based directly in strategic regions. In China, Bai Bing represents the group from Shanghai. In the Nordic countries, Jörgen H. supports IMF International’s development across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.

Both appointments reflect the same objective: strengthening proximity with local industrial players, supporting projects more effectively and developing sustainable commercial and distribution networks.

A dedicated presence in China

Based in Shanghai, Bai Bing represents the group’s brands in the Chinese market, including IMF International and ADES Technologies. His role is to maintain close contact with local industrial players, strengthen existing relationships and identify new opportunities for cooperation.

His arrival reinforces a development strategy already supported by the integration of HANQI into IMF International’s distribution network. By combining local representation with a growing network of partners, the group aims to provide customers in China with closer and more responsive support.

During a recent visit to France, Bai Bing completed a three-day immersion programme covering the group’s strategy, product training, production processes and meetings with the IMF International and ADES Technologies teams. This hands-on approach helps ensure that local representation is supported by a detailed understanding of the group, its products and its industrial expertise.

Closer to customers, partners and projects

A local presence makes it possible to support international development beyond remote commercial follow-up. It provides a direct point of contact for customers and partners while improving knowledge of each market’s specific requirements.

  • A dedicated representative based directly in Shanghai for the Chinese market.
  • Closer relationships with customers, partners and local industrial players.
  • Support for the development of IMF International and ADES Technologies in China.
  • A local presence complementing IMF International’s distribution network.

This model is designed to combine the technical and industrial expertise of the group with the market knowledge and proximity provided by local representatives.

Strengthening our presence across the Nordics

IMF International is applying the same on-the-ground approach in Northern Europe. Jörgen H. represents the group across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, bringing extensive international business development experience in the industrial sector, from SMEs to large multinational companies.

His knowledge of Nordic markets, their industrial players and their business culture will support IMF International’s development in strategic sectors including defence, nuclear, railway and Oil & Gas. His mission also includes building and structuring a local distribution network.

For IMF International, these markets require proximity, continuity and trusted relationships. A dedicated regional presence therefore provides a stronger link between local requirements and the group’s industrial capabilities.

The development of these local representations is part of a broader approach to international growth: combining industrial expertise, market knowledge and direct relationships with customers and partners.

Whether in Asia or Northern Europe, the objective remains the same: provide a local point of contact capable of understanding projects, identifying requirements and connecting them with the expertise available across the group.
